What to submit

One entry. Three parts.

Everything is submitted online through your team dashboard. Drafts save as you go.

Part 1

Pitch video or essay

Pick one. A video of at most 3 minutes, shared as an unlisted YouTube link or a Google Drive link set to “Anyone with the link”. Or an essay of up to 1,000 words. Show the problem, your idea and what you learned.

Part 2

Green Business Canvas

Five short answers of 50 to 100 words each: the problem, the solution, the customers, price and costs, and the environmental benefit and how you measure it.

Part 3

Proof of action

Between 1 and 5 photos or numbers that show you tried it. A photo of a weighed bin, a tally sheet, a sales count. No faces.

Part 2 in detail

The Green Business Canvas

Five boxes, filled in order. Tap each one to see what to write, then flip the switch to see the difference between a vague answer and a specific one.

Example: “Canteen Second Helpings”, a team of 11-year-olds.

Box 1 of 5 · Problem

What is wrong, where, and who notices?

A specific answer

Our canteen bins fill with leftover rice every recess. We weighed one day of it: 38 kg.

Judges: Environmental impact · 30 pts

Specific answers have numbers you counted, weighed or asked about. They are the highlighted parts.

Before you press submit

The checklist

  • Video: it is under 3 minutes long, and the link is unlisted (YouTube) or “Anyone with the link” (Google Drive).
  • Essay: it is 1,000 words or fewer, and written by your team.
  • No faces appear in any photo. Crop, angle away, or photograph objects instead.
  • Every canvas section has an answer.
  • Each proof item has a short caption.

Why no faces?

Entries are read by judges and may be shown publicly if they win and parents agree. Keeping faces out protects everyone, including classmates who never signed up.

Not sure your link is unlisted?

Open it in a private browser window. If it plays without signing in, judges can watch it.
