Hi! Sharing something for kids aged 9 to 18 in Singapore: the Singapore Environmental Business Competition. It's free and fully online.

Students spot an environmental problem at school or in the neighbourhood, design a small business that fixes it, test it for real, and submit one entry (a 3-minute video or a written essay). They can enter alone or in a team of up to 5.

Top 3 teams win prizes, there are three special awards, and every entrant gets a certificate and written feedback from the judges.

Registration opens 1 February 2027. Entries close 30 April 2027.

Subject: A free green-business competition for your students (ages 9 to 18)

Dear teacher,

I wanted to share the Singapore Environmental Business Competition. It's a free, fully online, one-round competition where students find an environmental problem close to home, design a small business that fixes it, test it for real, and submit one entry. Students can enter alone or in teams of up to 5.

It works well as a six-week class project or a CCA. The site has a simple week-by-week plan, a scoring guide and example ideas:

Each student needs their own parent or guardian's consent, which is collected by email. Registration opens 1 February 2027 and entries close 30 April 2027. SEBC is an independent youth initiative and is not affiliated with any government agency, so please follow your school's usual approval process.

Thank you for considering it.
