For parents
Your child’s privacy comes first.
Plain answers about what we collect, what you’re agreeing to, and how to change your mind.
What you’ll be asked
When your child’s team registers, you get an email at the address they gave us. It links to a page with two checkboxes:
- Required
I agree to my child taking part in SEBC and having their entry judged.
- Optional
If my child’s entry wins, it may be shown publicly on the SEBC website and on SEBC’s official social media, such as Instagram. We would show the team name, first names and the entry. I can withdraw this at any time.
You’ll also be asked to type your child’s first name, so we know a real parent or guardian is answering. Saying no to the optional box never affects judging.
Changing your mind
After you agree, you receive a confirmation email with a Withdraw consent link. One click, effective immediately, no explanation needed. Your child’s team is told so they can carry on without them.
